Get to know your sewing machine at our sewing machine masterclass 
A complete introduction to sewing on a machine. 
We will cover threading, overview of stitches, and basic maintenance. 
There will be lots of time for you to practice and build your confidence before we start our project to make a tote bag. 
Walk away with an envelope cushion and lots of inspiration to use your new skills!

All materials are included in this 3hr workshop, and small group sizes mean you get loads of personal tuition.

Our Sewing Machine Masterclass is run in group workshops, available on a variety of dates and times. 

If you cannot attend the upcoming available dates we have a 'Private' booking option. This is a little misleading! It used to be called a 'flexitime' option and in essence means that if you have a group of 2-7 people you can book a private session at a time to suit you. 

If you would prefer a private session we do also have a 'Private Sewing Class' workshop available which is an individual private lesson and costs £60 for 2hrs.

I attended an Begineer's class and how to use my sewing machine.It  was great expereince and got exactly what I wanted to learn from this class and feel more confident with my sewing machine.  The teacher was absoluately fantastic to say the least, extremely informative, patient, friendly and made you feel at ease.A lovely  bright and comfortable  venue.

Rachel was such a great teacher, she went through every detail step by step. so it never felt overwhelming. By the end of the session I was surprised at how confident I felt with a sewing machine and  my sewing skills were surprisingly not too bad. I highly recommend this course and will be signing up for more lessons at Craft My Day. 5 stars!

I signed up to this class as It was a long time since I used a sewing machine and wanted to start sewing again.  I felt a bit apprehensive at first  l but I need not have worried as Janice put us all at ease and was very helpful if we were stuck at any point.  

We practiced on paper that had patterns such as hearts, and mazes  so that we could become familiar with the sewing machine. We went onto practising on pieces of material before finally taking the plunge to make a tote bag.   Janice guided us through each stage of the process and before  we knew it we had all completed our bags!  I was very proud of what I achieved and know I can go back and start using my sewing machine which has been  sitting at home doing nothing.    

I would highly recommend this class to anyone who is thinking of taking up machine sewing  for the first time or even if they have not done any sewing for a while.

Get to Know Your Sewing Machine and boost Your Sewing Confidence with this complete introduction to sewing on a machine. 

Our fun filled creative birthday parties are suitable for children turning 7-14yrs. All materials, party food and refreshments will be provided. 

Party group bookings can be made for 8-14 children attending. All children taking part in the activity must be included in this number.

If you book for less than 8 children, we will expect you to add extra children up to the minimum number.

Once you have booked your party slot you can select your craft party option. Choose from;

*New* Paint a rainbow canvas - Paint a fabulous rainbow backdrop and then finish to their own design or with the help of some stencils. 

Magic Slime Party- Create 3 types of slime in this fun filled party. Master the craze of making slime!

Tie Dye Party- Create a spiral Tie Dye T-shirt. Learn 3 dying techniques, experiment with indigo dye and go home with a ready to wear t-shirt, after the big reveal!

T-Shirt Printing -  Design and print your very own T-Shirt in this fun filled party!

Spell Book and Wand Party - Enjoy a magical party creating your very own secret treasure box 'Spell book'  and wand!

Trinket boxes- Design and decorate a beautiful treasure box!

Sewing Party -  Sew a cute cushion or bag. Unicorns, panda's, foxes or cats are just some of the available options!

The craft will take approx. 1hr 30mins with approx 20mins for party food. You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake. Each child will take home the items they have made during the party as a party favor.

Just arrive 10 mins before your party time with birthday cake and everything else will be taken care of! 

 All refreshments and party food will be provided, Including 2 x  Margarita Pizza, crudités and party snacks.  
Refreshments available throughout.

The food provided is 'party food' and is not meant to be a main meal. Children will get 2 slices of  Margarita pizza served with crudités and biscuits before you serve the birthday cake. Pizza size ordered dependant on the size of Party. 
We have options to add party bags and additional food to your party. Please select at checkout.

We just had a 10th birthday party for my daughter at Thames ditton for 12 kids. We arrived 15 min before the party started, everything was laid already. The shop itself was really cozy and full of wonderful art work. The two ladies took charge of the whole party as soon as the guests arrived. We had a tshirt printing party for a mix group. There were plenty of stencils to choose from and boys and girls both found what they wanted on their T-shirts. The ladies gave very clear instructions to the kids and kept kids engaged throughout the party. Food was served warm and quickly. And all the T-shirts were dry before the party finished. 

I really couldn’t have asked for a better party. The team said We like to take the stress out of party planning, so you really do not have to do anything and literally it was totally stress free. I would definitely recommend Craftmyday. Definitely going there again. Thank you Craftmyday. X
