It is very fun and you can sew many cool things including toys, bags, and more! The teachers make it very easy to use the sewing machine and help you if you have tangles or knots, or even almost any problems you have. The teachers that teach there are very nice too.

She was a littler nervous and the instructor was so welcoming and friendly, she soon settled. She came out absoloutely beaming with a bag that she had made. What is Crafting all about? 

Having fun, trying new things and socialising with other creatives! Join our weekly Craft club to enjoy a variety of our workshops, each with their specialist tutor, with a bit more emphasis on experimenting and playing! 

We aim to get a great social atmosphere with the enjoyment of regular crafting together.
You can join 1 session,  book a bundle of 5 or book via our alternative listing to join the whole term.  You get all our fantastic teaching at a discounted price!

Another fabulous evening art club where I learned how to make the most beautiful window decals. I hope that this might be repeated with a Christmas theme in the coming weeks. 

The crafting was gentle and cathartic and the social aspect of the workshop added to the all round experience.  Area and biscuits were welcome indulgences

Another great session where I completed two Christmas window decals and managed to get them home in one piece   Added a few embellishments once they were dry. Lovely day crafting with lovely people.

A new year and for me a new craft. I am learning to crochet. And Sonia taught me how to take a break when I felt frustrated. 😃😃😃

Get to know your sewing machine at our sewing machine masterclass 
A complete introduction to sewing on a machine. 
We will cover threading, overview of stitches, and basic maintenance. 
There will be lots of time for you to practice and build your confidence before we start our project to make a tote bag. 
Walk away with an envelope cushion and lots of inspiration to use your new skills!

All materials are included in this 3hr workshop, and small group sizes mean you get loads of personal tuition.

Our Sewing Machine Masterclass is run in group workshops, available on a variety of dates and times. 

If you cannot attend the upcoming available dates we have a 'Private' booking option. This is a little misleading! It used to be called a 'flexitime' option and in essence means that if you have a group of 2-7 people you can book a private session at a time to suit you. 

If you would prefer a private session we do also have a 'Private Sewing Class' workshop available which is an individual private lesson and costs £60 for 2hrs.

I attended an Begineer's class and how to use my sewing machine.It  was great expereince and got exactly what I wanted to learn from this class and feel more confident with my sewing machine.  The teacher was absoluately fantastic to say the least, extremely informative, patient, friendly and made you feel at ease.A lovely  bright and comfortable  venue.

Rachel was such a great teacher, she went through every detail step by step. so it never felt overwhelming. By the end of the session I was surprised at how confident I felt with a sewing machine and  my sewing skills were surprisingly not too bad. I highly recommend this course and will be signing up for more lessons at Craft My Day. 5 stars!

An overall very enjoyable experience. The time seemed to wiz by. Learnt about threading a sewing machine, practised all the differenct stitches, sewing in straight lines and how to easily sew a perfect curve. Ended the class making a handy tote bag. Can’t wait to book another class.

I signed up to this class as It was a long time since I used a sewing machine and wanted to start sewing again.  I felt a bit apprehensive at first  l but I need not have worried as Janice put us all at ease and was very helpful if we were stuck at any point.  

We practiced on paper that had patterns such as hearts, and mazes  so that we could become familiar with the sewing machine. We went onto practising on pieces of material before finally taking the plunge to make a tote bag.   Janice guided us through each stage of the process and before  we knew it we had all completed our bags!  I was very proud of what I achieved and know I can go back and start using my sewing machine which has been  sitting at home doing nothing.    

I would highly recommend this class to anyone who is thinking of taking up machine sewing  for the first time or even if they have not done any sewing for a while.
