Join us for some papercraft fun at our lovely Craft My Day studio. This class runs each week focusing on a new card and using a variety of skills, techniques and equipment. Learn to use die cuts, punches rubber stamps and a variety of inking techniques. This weekly 1 hour workshop can be attended as a 1 off introduction or become a regular to build your skills and join our fun community. Each session will include ALL materials.

Great introductory course to sewing make 4 projects over this 4 week course.
You will complete a different project each week to build your confidence and range of skills. Each week will build your skills so that you are confident to go on and tackle projects at home!

Week 1 - Get to know your machine at our 'Sewing Machine Masterclass'
A complete introduction to sewing on a machine. We will cover threading, overview of stitches, seams, hemming and loads of useful tips.
Walk away with a shopping bag and lots of confidence !!

Week 2 -  Alterations- learn how to turn up trousers and make basic clothes Alterations. 

Week 3 - Make a stylish cushion, with a zip and piping!

​Week 4 - PJ Bottoms ( purchase of fabric required) - Introduction to commercial patterns and dressmaking on this  project to produce a comfy pair of PJ bottoms.

My husband booked the first workshop (Make A Bag) of this 4 week course as a present. Having only done limited sewing whilst at school, I found the class a great introduction into learning how to use the sewing machine and using basic stitches.  We were also given paper templates and scrap fabric in order to get used to using the machine and to practice sewing with different stitches and experience how to handle the fabric when sewing in straight lines, around curves and changing directions. By the end of the class, I came away with a beautiful shopping bag that was going to come in handy and that I felt very proud of.  

Rachel was very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. All materials were provided and the studio was well equipped with everything you would need (including tea and biscuits!). We had a group of five people which was nice as it was a friendly environment that everyone felt they could ask questions as we went along or general tips and advice on sewing. The studio is a great space which also showcases items that have been made in other classes.  There’s so many other art/craft classes that I now want to try! 

I found the first workshop and my experience very inspiring and this led me to book the other 3 workshops on this course: Making a zipped Make up bag, Make A Cushion Cover with Piping, and Make Pyjama Bottoms. I have thoroughly enjoyed all these workshops (not to mention using my creations!) and my sewing confidence has increased during the course. I would recommend this to anyone interested in sewing or looking to learn some new skills.

Made a shopping bag, a zipped make up bag, a piped cushion cover with a concealed zip and a pair of pyjama bottoms! Quite an achievement considering the fact I had never used a sewing machine before.

Cushions are a great beginner's sewing project, but many people are put off because they are scared of the zips!  
During this Workshop you will learn to insert a zip with confidence, and finish your beautiful cushion with piping, to create a really stylish finish to brighten up your home or great for personalised gifts!
You will be provided with a selection of fabrics to choose from to create your cushion.
Sewing machines are provided but feel free to bring along your own if you would like help with your machine.

I absolutely loved this class. The instructor was so informative and patient. I also learned some great tips on how to use my personal sewing machine better which was an extra bonus. My husband was incredibly proud of my final product! I will certainly book more classes.

This most recent class I attended was free motion embroidery. It was a 3 hour class and I made a bird out of fabric scraps. The class included the materials we needed , how to go about constructing your piece and then putting it together on the machine.  I loved it and having help and guidance at hand made it so enjoyable. I was glad to have existing sewing machine experience and I have already bought an embroidery foot for my sewing machine. Our fun filled creative birthday parties are suitable for children turning 7-14yrs. All materials, party food and refreshments will be provided.

Party group bookings can be made for 8 -14 children attending. All children taking part in the activity must be included in this number, including the Birthday child.

Once you have booked your party slot you can select your craft party option. Choose from;

*New* Paint a rainbow canvas - Paint a fabulous rainbow backdrop and then finish to their own design or with the help of some stencils.

Magic Slime Party- Create 3 types of slime in this fun filled party. Master the craze of making slime!

Tie Dye Party- Create a spiral Tie Dye T-shirt. Learn 3 dying techniques, experiment with indigo dye and go home with a ready to wear t-shirt, after the big reveal!

T-Shirt Printing - Design and print your very own T-Shirt in this fun filled party!

Spell Book and Wand Party - Enjoy a magical party creating your very own Spell book and wand!

Trinket boxes- Design and decorate a beautiful treasure box!

Sewing Party - Sew a cute cushion or bag. Unicorns, panda's, foxes or cats are just some of the available options!

The craft will take approx. 1hr 30mins with approx 20mins for party food. You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake. Each child will take home the items they have made during the party as a party favor.

Just arrive 10 mins before your party time with birthday cake and everything else will be taken care of!

All refreshments and party food will be provided, Including 2 x Margarita Pizza, crudités and party snacks.\
Refreshments available throughout.

The food provided is 'party food' and is not meant to be a main meal. Children will get 2 slices of Margarita pizza served with crudités and biscuits before you serve the birthday cake. Pizza size ordered dependant on the size of Party.

You can upgrade your party packages to include party bags and additional food.

Please note, we do not need all party guests names - just repeat fill with your details.

Your initial booking will be for our minimum, up to 8 children, you can add additional guests to your booking - up to the maximum of 14, just email us to confirm final numbers at least 2 weeks before the event date, by replying to your confirmation email.

Gluten free/vegan pizza's can be ordered at an additional £15. Please note that any severe allergy sufferers are recommended to bring their own food, as there may be trace contamination.

Amazing seeing party for our daughters 8th birthday. All the children learnt sewing skills and got to take a wonderful cushion home they had designed and seen themselves. Lots of fun and pizza, snacks and juice all included. Wonderful party kids enjoyed and stress free for us!

My daughter had her 8th birthday at Craft my Day with 11 of her friends and had a fantastic time. The activity they did was the tie dye T-shirts and they were all amazing. Annie and Becca, who ran the workshop were great and made sure they all had a lovely time. Thank you so much
