What happens at this event?
Spend 3 weeks making a beautifully fitting A- line skirt. Learn to alter commercial patterns to create your perfect fitting skirt, and all the sewing skills to complete the project to a professional finish. You will learn many new skills to enable you to continue with your dressmaking journey with confidence!

Things to remember
You will need to purchase some material for the construction of your skirt. Please bring:
Skirt fabric - size 8-14
- Either 1.8m (180cm) of 115cm wide woven cotton (non stretchy)
- Or 1.4m (140cm) of 140cm wide woven cotton (non stretchy)
- Regular zip (18-20 cm long)

FAQ's
Worcester Park station is in zone 4 and trains run direct from Waterloo and Epsom. The station is a 10 minute walk from the studio. The 213 Bus
stops directly outside and runs from Sutton and Kingston.
Worcester Park is just off the A3 giving easy access from both London and the M25. The roads off Worcester Park high street have no parking restrictions.
As well as all tuition , we provide all materials needed. With the exception of our Upholstery and Dress Making courses which you need to purchase material or bring your own. Light refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) also provided.
There is no on site parking available , however there is plenty of free parking in the surrounding roads.
Toilet facilities are available but please note they are accessed via four descending steps.
As well as the main studio room, there is also another room at the back of the premises where some workshops are held. Please also note these are accessed via the four descending stairs. If you need to know if your workshop is held in this room , due to access reasons, then please email us.

Thanks to a gift card I booked onto the Making an A-line skirt course and it’s amazing! Rachel is so lovely - very welcoming, relaxed and super clear in explaining what to do and how and when! Learnt so much on week one and can’t wait to see my finished skirt! Thank you Rachel! x

I really enjoyed these classes and definitely learnt a lot from them. What I liked the most is that you have plenty of time to finish your skirt which makes the process less stressful and more fun to do and allows time to correct and learn from the mistakes that you will make as a beginner. I would definitely do more classes here.
