Christmas Embroidery Workshop

Which design would you like to make?

New to mosaics, then this is the Workshop for you.\
In this half day workshop you will learn how to cut, stick and grout mosaic tiles and leave for home with your own handmade mosaic.\
You can choose from a variety of shapes to mosaic including squares, stars, birds, animals, hearts, circles and decorate them with beautiful glass, mirror and china.

The workshop is completely hands-on with help and demonstrations through-out.

​All materials, equipment and instructions will be provided, just bring along your creativity.

Tiffany was fantastic, we had no previous mosaic experience, she made it easy and fun. We were delighted with our tiles.  Everything was supplied, the room is nice and bright. A great afternoon.

I loved the mosaic class. Tiffany was an informative and enthusiastic instructor and I loved learning a new technique. I went home feeling very proud of my creation!😊

The tutor showed us lots of lovely examples of her work, there was plenty of choice on what to do in the class.  I did a butterfly.  She explained things very well and what a selection of bits to decorate with.
Class could hve done with being slightly longer as i just finished on time but 2 of the other ladies didn't.  perhaps another 1/2hour

warm and friendly atmosphere in the classroom. I feel I’m making real progress but would love to have an extra session devoted to learning how to grout properly as we never have enough time to cover this in class. 

Another fantastic mosaic workshop with Tina! Will definitely sign up for more though very interested in a series of classes where I could work on a big piece over time and properly learn associated skills like grouting.

My second mosaic workshop was most enjoyable and I was delighted with my completed seahorse. Thank you so much for a great session. Booked this as a gift for my friend for her birthday. Neither of us had ever done any mosaic classes before but the training and instruction was really helpful. We both really enjoyed it and love our final pieces. The only thing that would have been better was a bit more time… the class is 3hrs but 3.5hrs would have been better as I felt a bit rushed for time at the end. We spent a lot of time at the beginning learning how to cut the glass. Also a very small point but the website said light refreshments including biscuits, which would have been lovely but we didn’t get any.

Very interesting class! I made a 1 foot tall sculpture I could take home with me! Great stuff, you learn all about Powertex - fabric hardening paint and powder inks. Happy to go again!

I never expected a single class had so much scope for creativity! Really informative class and the skill was easy to pick up for the non-expert. Rachel was very knowledgeable and supported us all well, our final pieces completed in 5 hours and uniquely different from each other -I got a few new ideas from watching my classmates too! From one class alone I feel confident and can't wait to pursue new projects inspired by the material. I am very interested in coming back to Craft My Day to see what else I can take up.
