Whatever level you are you are welcome to come along and\
expand knowledge through creativity and exploration of wide range of mediums and techniques in both 2D and 3D .\
We will work with acrylics on canvas, watercolours, inks, pastels, clay, mixed media and more!

Adult Art Club - Worcester Park

Craft and laugh has been created to give people somewhere to go once a week to set time aside for their craft, or participate in charity recycled bag making sessions  and have some company, with other people similarly crafting.

It is designed to aid wellbeing in terms of taking a break from life, and interracting with others.  Both of which have become more difficult for many after a period where life has been quite tricky.

The sessions are run for all levels.  You are welcome to bring your own project to work on, or you can help make bags for the morsbags project (more can be found here www.morsbags.com)

 It doesn't matter about your crafting skills and experience, craft & laugh is for everybody.  There are plenty of jobs to do, and you don't even need to be able to sew.

Due to the huge popularity of these sessions we have introduced a new Tuesday group, that runs every 2 weeks, as well as our weekly Wednesday morning weekly session. 

Sessions are just £5 to cover basic costs and can be paid in advance through this system,  or by cash or card on the day. You can choose to pay for a bundle of 6 sessions ( half a term) at a time for £25.

It's a relaxed session with no expectations.  If you come and chat and get very little done - that's OK too!

Impromptu lesson in Log cabin quilting design and we made three coasters for the studio.

Another brilliant morning at Craft My Day in Thames Ditton. 
We all attacked the sewing machines either making bags or quilted coasters. Michelle explained the basic principle of free motion embroidery. (I feel another workshop coming on!)
A friendly cheerful way to spend a couple of hours of ‘me time’.  Roll on next week!

Another lovely morning. Plenty of chatter and laughter (Class lives up to its name!)  This time I recycled a cushion cover into a zipped bag for Boomerang Bags. A win win! Lots of advice available if you want it but all very relaxed. A lovely bit of ‘me’ time.

Another lovely friendly morning. A variety of projects - someone using the large tables to cut out a dress. Others crocheting, hand sewing and knitting. I continued on my crown project with assistance from the lovely Micky who will hopefully be joining us in the future.

Another fun morning- and I have started crocheting again after about 4 years. All crafts welcome!!


We always have a lovely time! Sonia makes a lovely cup of tea, and has been happy to help me out with lots of advice, tips, and equipment when I bite off more than I can chew with my craft projects. 
We're even planning a group project together, which is very exciting. 

And we’re back after the school holidays! Another brilliant morning, plenty of laughter and crafting. Crocheted dinosaurs, knitted baby clothes, hand decorated bags and other crocheted things. This weekly course is suitable to join whether you are a complete beginner or want to improve your skills! 
We will build your skills and confidence with a range of sewing projects, working towards dressmaking and creating beautifully fitting clothes that you will be proud to show off!

We will look at upcycling,  fat quarter projects, inserting  zips, button holes, dressmaking patterns, alterations,  fittings and more!

You can join for the whole term at a much cheaper 'per sesiion' price, for a bundle of 5 classes or just choose to come along to 1 session to see how you get on!

All materials, tools  and equipment are provided unless we are working on a dressmaking project.

Art Journalling’ …… There is no specific definition for this term. 

It is what you make out of your colours, words, imagery and patterns. A visual diary to express your ideas, feelings, memories, thoughts and emotions, with full freedom and no rules , the artistic version of a written journal.

Whether creating a collage with multimedia, photos, stamping, printing, doodling , using cutouts from magazines……your imagination and the sky is the limit !

Come explore the joy of creating, simply for the sake of it. 

Let this session be an assault on your creative senses to explore together !

Come along each week for some mindful crafting with like-minded people and exploring the many techniques of journalling. We will explore a variety of mediums, techniques  and materials to create a new page each session. 

This relaxed mindful weekly workshop will boost your creativity and free your imagination through guided journalling to create your very own beautiful art book.

What is Crafting all about? Having fun, trying new things and socialising with other creatives! Join our bi- weekly Craft club to enjoy a variety of our workshops, each with their specialist tutor, with a bit more emphasis on experimenting and playing! Another fabulous evening art club where I learned how to make the most beautiful window decals. I hope that this might be repeated with a Christmas theme in the coming weeks. 

The crafting was gentle and cathartic and the social aspect of the workshop added to the all round experience.  Area and biscuits were welcome indulgences   

Will be back in November. 

Another great session where I completed two Christmas window decals and managed to get them home in one piece   Added a few embellishments once they were dry. Lovely day crafting with lovely people.
